Review: NuVision 2-in-1 Windows 10 Tablet with Keyboard

Source: hsn.com

Many tech users have become fans of 2-in-1 tablets in that it gives the user the option of using he product as a tablet or connecting the keyboard to convert it into a mini-laptop.  I have seen this type of configuration available for iOS and Android devices since I own an iPad Pro with Bluetooth keyboard (iOS) and an Acer tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard (Android).  However, I use an HP all-in-one desktop for most of my writing and was hoping to eventually get my hands on a 2-in-one that used Windows 10 as its’ operating system; NuVision became the answer that I was searching for.

Recently, the opportunity came for me to own NuVision’s 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet and was excited to see how it would perform.  Considering the device is smaller and would not have the same power behind it as my desktop, I wanted to see if I could work productively on it and to compare my experience to that of others who shared their reviews of it.

Breaking Down NuVision’s 2-in-1 Windows 10 Device

The specs on this device, provided from HSN, uses 32-Bit Windows 10 Home as its’ operating system and boasts a 10.1” HD IPS touch display with 1280 X 800 resolution.  The processor is a quad-core Intel Atom x5 Z8350, at 1.44GHz that has 32 GB memory that is built in.  The product has both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 with a memory card slot that supports microSD memory cards up to 64 GB.  There are several ports that can be accessed, which are 2 USB, 1 Micro USB, 1 Micro USB 3.0, 1 Micro HDMI and 1 headphone jack; this means the user can connect this to a bigger monitor/TV set or other devices like an external hard drive or mouse.

Understandably, your average person may not fully comprehend some of the data that I just mentioned; however, a quick summary would state that many of the details mentioned above would be present in a laptop or desktop PC instead of a tablet.  There are other features this 2-in-1 has that makes this a product worth considering.

Say Hello to Cortana

Having a personal assistant that is a human being is nice to have; yet being able to have one that is within your smart devices or computers is beneficial to be sure.  Since this is uses a Windows 10 operating system, it comes with a non-human assistant known as Cortana.  This means the user can ask her to find files, photos, answer questions and more by either saying “Hey Cortana” and then saying your command or simply type your command in the designated search field.

The Customers Have Spoken

When deciding on purchasing a product, it is important to first research what you can about it which includes customer reviews (if available).  Looking at HSN and Amazon’s customer reviews regarding this unit, 19 in all placed their reviews; 16 gave a rating of either 4 or 5 stars out of a 5-star rating.  Comments that were left included this being a powerful 2-in-1 at an affordable price and very impressed with how fast it is and the lightweight construction.

Last Thoughts on NuVision’s 2-in-1 Windows 10 Tablet

This is a product worth looking at, especially for anyone looking for a way to see how productive and fun a 2-in-1 can be.  Starting an assignment on my own HP all-in-one desktop that uses Windows 10, I had no issues being able to continue where I had left off using my NuVision device as well as reversing the process.  This behaves as though it is a mini-laptop while easily switching to using it as a tablet.

My suggestion is to purchase this on the HSN as it is currently going for $149.95.  The bonuses include getting extra software, being able to make five affordable payments of $29.99 and taking advantage of their holiday extended return policy of getting a full refund if sending it back no later than January 31st, 2018!  The only question remaining is what are you waiting for?
